OUR WHY
As I was studying about breaking free from my past, I had an encounter with God that was so profound that it changed the very core of my existence. I was reading Isaiah 61. The Lord impressed it upon my heart that I had a Crown of Beauty, because He was going to give me beauty for the ashes that life produced. It was then I realized, through the word of God and through my relationship, that God would use these ashes to help others navigate the challenges of their lives. I realized in that moment that my life was bigger than just me - and all that I had endured had not been for nothing.
God led me to start Crowned in Beauty, as he made it my mission to help women who have been devalued, not known they're worth, and have ignored their pain while caring for others. I want to encourage women to find beauty in those trials as difficult as they may be and see that they can love again, breathe again, and hope again because of the redemptive work on the cross. And I am so passionate and blessed to have the opportunity to do this daily.
